Chiropractic Adjustments
A chiropractic adjustment is a controlled force directed to a restricted joint with the intention of improving the motion. By doing this. the area is able to move more freely, improving nerve flow and better posture biomechanics. The end result is increased longevity, improved nervous system function, and accelerated innate healing.

Y Strap Traction and Adjustment
The now made infamous from the internet, the Y-Strap is one of my favorite tools I use in the office for relieving neck pain/tension/tightness/discomfort. If you have any sort of disc degeneration or disc issues in the neck area, the Y-Strap is an effective tool to lengthen and decompression the neck/cervical area. The traction and adjustment part of the Y-Strap are one of the safest chiropractic adjustments when done properly.

Y STRAP?
Further Explanation
The Y-Strap adjustment, also known as a "Y-Axis Chiropractic Adjustment" or "Y-Axis Spinal Decompression," is a chiropractic technique used to provide manual spinal traction and sometimes combined with the adjustment or "pull" part. The Y-Strap traction and adjustment is intended to decompress the spine, alleviate pain, and improve spinal alignment.
Tell Me More
Everyday all day we endure compressive forces and we theorize that this is why any sort of lifting, pulling or decompression adjustment feels so good. It has also been theorized that the quick pulling force generated by the Y Strap Adjustment decompresses the intervertebral discs and creates a vacuum effect, which enable nutrients to flow into the discs. The Y Strap truly feels like it is "lifting" away compression and melting away stress. Call or book an appointment online to experience the Y-Strap w/ Dr. Palmer.
